123-Reg WHOIS fault

I am trying to reg a name through 123-Reg but it cannot WHOIS any UK Domains.

Instead I just get:

"Unable to lookup at this time"

Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks, but I wasn't using it just for a WHOIS, their system does a WHOIS automatically when you try to reg a new name. It's working again now but I keep getting this error.

I have emailed their support so will see what they say.

there seems to be something quite wrong with their system at the moment. i registered a name on friday night and the options for whois opt out and email catching both didn't show up on the registry form. even now when i try to opt out of public whois i get the "... was successful" screen yet its still available to everyone.

Whois opt out did not work for my last 2 domains - had to raise a support call to get this done. Would be better if it worked as before at time of registration.

gets really bad when there is a big drop on
