It costs £30 to transfer a domain (12 years of registration fees). So why are nominet using 2nd class post to send out transfer forms? If you're paying for a first class service then you're entitled to one.

Funnily enough I was going to post almost the same comment! I just chased Nominet for transfer forms I requested only to be told to contact them again if I didn't receive by end of week as they are sent 2nd class. In my case the deals are small but if I was involved in a big sale and had to wait an extra 3 days just because Nominet wanted to save 10p then I would be less than happy.

Stephen.

I never thought to look at the postage, I re use envelopes so used them to send on to buyers so can't check. I had reason to follow up forms as well that took longer than next day post, I didn't even receive confirmation email for one of them to say they'd even got the request, but the above might explain the delay.
