30th NO DROPS?

I was to do with a leap year a few years ago because some of my old names back from 2004 once renewed added an extra day onto the expiry ie

27-Feb-2004
28-Feb-2006

I remember thinking back then it was unusal to have one extra day but it does make sense if you think about it.

How annoying. What has May got to do with Feb though?

Ignore this. I just read the post above.

Perhaps suprisingly I don't think I've ever looked at a drop-list for more than a few seconds.

1. It's totally mind-numbing and mostly boring
2. you occasionally find your self stopping at absolute crap domains for No reason (Happens more the longer you look at the damn list)
3.Before you know-it, one or two stick in your mind and you justify to yourself, your reason for registering/capturing it
4. You place it Sale on Acorn with the following comments:
A. "Everyone was after this one"
B. "Caught this earlier today"

5. Observations - Time better spent chasing the domain list that you really want. The domains that you could even hope to capture with a standard booking cost ( ie £30) can't really be that good these days. You don't see many posts these days that say "This is a domain caught for me be so-and-so" for say £30 thats a great purchase

Strange I've got info for millions of domains and none are showing as renewal date for 28th Feb. Could you PM me a name please (obviously I'll understand if you don't want to)? You may have hit a niche :)

I've been told that Nominet had a system outage where no regges could be made - two years ago. Think this is the cause.
