I think the manufacturers/retails will be my first port of call, but have no idea really how to approach them or what kind of ballpark figure is realistic.
Wait until .uk launches, sell the pair together as quickly as possible. Soon enough, if 4k catches on, all TV will be 4k and then they're just TV again.
I would approach electronic retailers, as a manufacturer is all about the brand.
I would be careful when to sell. Whilst waiting for .UK to launch is sensible, there is a finite shelf life for such things. How long will it be before they go to 8K? Will they refer to UHD, rather than 4K and 8K?
4K is very new. See if you can find out which retailers are attempting to pioneer the sale of 4K displays in the UK and contact them. What was it worth to you in respect of your original idea/project?
Sod all really. As I said, I was going to use it for a completely unrelated project, then I chose to go with something else. I think I originally paid around £5/600 for it.

It probably has as much value as a short brandable as it does for the TV market.
I have found selling any "future tech" domain very difficult. Get on and start trying to sell it now before technology moves on. You'll need a great deal of luck to sell it to the TV market IMO.
