724 co uk on Sedo auction at 10k US...?

It's most likely the seller and they've opened a second account to bid on their own auction so that it just meets the reserve. Money laundering is a bit "out there".

Shill bidding, money laundering, still as bad as each other.

367365.com sold for $3,050 last week. I get that the Chinese market likes number domains, but I find the values ludicrous.

@DaveP - Dave, a question in good faith and I don't mean any malice by it at all, but if you're as anti .uk/.co.uk as you come across, why are you active on this forum?

To give us all a reality check every now and then...?;)

I am not anti .co.uk. I think that .uk (not .co.uk) is a waste of money.

Edit: From a domaining and reselling perspective. IMO.

He is not anti .co.uk, he catches many nice .co.uk domains every single day :D

CN numericals/pinyin... unlikely CN would be bidding up on something with a 4 in. 4 numerological meaning for CN/pinyin is unlucky...

Also, .com yes .co.uk no, for CN numericals... so probably shill billing, or someone really wants it...

www.4.cn is your friend for these things.
