I managed to get the domain i wanted in the end.

It was:

http://www.dirtyprettythings.co.uk

It has averaged 254 unique visitors per day since mid Feburary and has averaged just less then £1 per day on the Amazon affiliate scheme (excluding 398 pre-ordered CD albums). This average earning figure is also excluding 2 high value purchases - 1 HDTV worth £2200 and 1 home cinema kit worth £800.

So I disagree that If it was half decent domain I wouldn't have a chance in getting it.

Not bad traffic stats for just a few links in Google and 18 w/ext.

I think 90% of traffic is URL type-in as opposed to Google searches as 'Dirty Pretty Things' are a popular band releasing their debut album on the 8th May.

They went in at number 5 in the UK singles chart on Sunday

Their UK tour sold out in less than 5 minutes apart from 3 dates.

See, I could teach you domainers a thing or two - have a good eye and ear for bands :-D
