Google Adsense Adsense account disabled by previous owner

Hi Guys,

Wonder if someone can help?

I have purchased a domain and the previous owner has advised that google has blocked his adsense account for dodgy adsense or something when using this domain. All has been transferred to me. I was wondering if I can use adsense on there without any problems, or do you think google will ban my account aswell?

I would fire over an email from your account to put them in the picture. Just to cover yourself.

Try this tool if no ads show up then the domain is banned too and will not show up any adsense ads. http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/google-adsense-preview/ if ads are shown you should be ok. If the domain is banned Contacting adsense should help but don't know how easy it is to get them to remove the ban.

I bought a site that was in exactly the same position as yours (Google had banned the previous site owners adsense account).

I contacted Google (amazingly someone replied) and confirmed that it's not the site that get's banned when this happens, it's the adsense account.

Since buying the site from the guy, I put my code up and the adsense has been earning !
