advice needed please

hi im currently looking to start a business on home improvements, and we give the customer the option of finance. i have been reading you need a fca license to offer customers credit does any body know about this or the type i need also i have heard that there are some companies that let you use there license with ther permissions, i just havnt got £2000 at start to fund the license thanks in advance phil

Could you not do it through a third party finance provider? I think they may take a % but may be easier?
