Advise Needed

Started building http://www.how2begin.com several months ago. Went live in July. Biggest problem I have at the moment is traffic. Just around 80 per day. I've submitted articles, posted in forums, directories, used Adsence and Yahoo, but feel I should be doing more. As there's little income from the site, I can't afford anymore advertising, so I'll have to work on creating a better site.
Perhaps someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong or what else I should be doing. Using Joomla which is great, though there are restrictions. All comments most welcome. Thanks

you have answered your own question... using cms / dms backends are great for "realtime" work but are hard to keep high or get high without constant work... we have looked into you site and could consult with options that will help.. maybe you could spend less on Adsense / Yahoo and more on targeted marketing...

there are also a large amount of xtends you have missing from the core, which if you do not start from scratch again can be difficult to add to the running... e.g some xtends screw the back end and you have to get resolved all over again...

do you have a budget (pmnth) in mind for what you are or have been spending?

Hang on a minute, am i right in thinking that your saying using a CMS makes it difficult to rank well in Google?

Sure some CMS's are'nt great in terms on coding and on-site aspects but such a sweeping statement is a little inaccurate.
