Will all members please be aware that affiliate links are not allowed in there signatures. This does include links to sedo or namedrive pages.

Why not?

We all make a significant contribution to this community. Namedrive made it clear that they'll allow the odd parked domain to be added to our sigs on the understanding is that we're all pro's and we don't click or hit domains or genre's we're not interested in just for the sake of it.

If a member is genuinely interested in a product or domain another member has - then where's the problem?

Cookies are flying all over the net, and personally I'd be more than happy to let another forum member take the credit for the time and effort in setting up a site and afilliate links rather than someone I don't know - which is more likely to be the case.

I think a review of this rule is needed urgently.

the sensible ones yes, but not ones that are big and distract you from reading the forum.

No, parked domain traffic should be "natural" traffic.

Another suggestion could be to limit sigs to three lines and three external URLS?

Obviously admin has a few links in his however his forum so can do what he likes but it is getting silly when posts are smaller than sigs

I suppose 2 is not as bad as having 6 in your sig
