Just wondering which one of the above people use (or any others)?

I've been using Majestic as it does seem to be more complete, especially compared to OSE which seems to return very few results sometimes. I'm tempted on giving AHRefs a try though, as it seems very user friendly when using the free version.

Thanks Max, I have read that post this week actually and it's one of the reasons I'm edging towards giving AHRefs a go. That, and the fact it seems to index new links very quickly.

Majestic is great. Accurate and good value for money where ahrefs is pricey.

We have Moz too, but OSE is pretty much useless. We have it for keyword difficulty and position monitoring mainly (though Wincher is better at that, and costs peanuts).

ye have to say Ahrefs does win, but it wins by not a huge amount that may not make a difference and price may be the ultimate factor, I've used all of them before and all are similar. Wish ahrefs wasn't quite as pricey to be honest!

What is your purpose? I have used all, SEMrush is really good, specially if you are doing competitor analysis and digging down deeper on why they are successful, it is also an awesome tool for keyword and backlink research, not really good for backlink research, but it might still do a better job than OSE. OSE is total crap, second best or complete tool is Ahrefs, but again it all comes down to what you really need it for, also, you can try Alexa to find backlinks and keywords, I am using it for past couple of months, its fast and clean.

there is n correct answer here. Each one has its strengths and weakness and we use Majestic and Ahrefs as our two main tools. Our needs dictate both.

As an agency we subscribe to all 3 but if you were after 1 then I would suggest you go for Majestic SEO which in my opinion will cover you for most jobs.

I ended up going with AHRefs. Majestic is good, but I just found that despite being more expensive, it's worth it because for my uses AHRefs is just that little bit superior and an overall better user experience.

for irregular searches AHRefs, Majestic, OSE I'd look for gig on fiver, saves paying the full amount if your not using it much

If anyone ever needs specific reports run on Majestic, feel free to PM or email me. Not always on here so may not receive an immediate reply but worth a try. :)
