Don't see any way to make money from it as I said in the other thread I don't see why people get on the high horse about this and not about the cancer domains posted for sale on here. In my opinion they have far more potential to be used in a negative way as treatment in this area is much less advanced.

Good point, I've seen a few cancer domains here at silly prices and raised an odd eyebrow.

If its an appraisal then maybe one day there may be a way to monetize it and sell cures to aids victims...... Nice.

I think it may be a good thing you picked it up, at least this way you can give it to a proper organisation and not have it used by someone posting some links to some bogus treatment.

Have a few minutes look about for people actually working in this area and give it to them, that's what I'd do with it.

To be honest as I probablly maid a bit more clear in the OP's other thread I just thought it was harsh that people were red reping just for owning it seemed like double standards.(The rep seems to have been sorted now anyway)
As a uk domain I hope there will never be a way to monetize as I'd hope any vaccine that does come along in the future will be available on the free on the NHS
Suppose that assumes the torries havent destroyed the NHS by that time.

The value for such a name would likely be in a scenario where an AIDS vaccine exists. If someone was to create a site on the URL with a fake cure that would be terrible, but hopefully no such site would come to exist. Maybe set up a blog there detailing current advancements towards a vaccine?

Nothing wrong with what OP has done. I think a few members here should check themselves.

No different to having a list of domains of other diseases or conditions and hoping for a drug company to buy them etc etc.
