Hello,
I wonder if anyone might be kind enough to give me their opinion on value of an electri cal domain that I have some interest in.

It is a co uk and BACKWARDS (to avoid showing up in Google) is srabsub - used for conducting power.

One of the cies is reasonably big.

Thanks in advance,
Dashu

I don't think it's a matter of the number of searches (although it does get almost 1000 per month exact), but having the generic term for their industry?

remember that 1 major contract could be worth a significant amount of money, ie tens of thousands of pounds if not more.

Where do you get 1000 from ?

I know what you mean about being the right name for the industry but who you going to sell it to ?

I get it from google keywords - you did reverse srabsub first - it is backwards?

I'm talking to a couple of manufacturers about it.

Yes I searched for the word *edit* followed by *edit*

It only gets 880 on the broad setting, you don't have it set to exacts.

Anyway if you can get manufacturers interested then good luck

Thats weird, I have it on exacts - globally it comes out at 1600, uk 200 odd.

Anyway, I'll see what happens and report back.

I suggested over mid £xxx and one came straight back and said yes please, just paid £800 for [nokeyworddomain].com

Not always down to the keywords I guess, should have known from the speed they came back to my original email.

Oh well, a bird in the hand and all that :)

yes, the very same.

Well that's what you get when you go chasing, I don't do it enough :(

My smallinvestment and largeinvestment on ~co #uk
They don't get much UK exacts bit I bet I'll sell them for a nice price one day

It might get lower searches than consumer products, but a contract to supply b-u-s bars to say a ship, or train job, or even for control panels could be worth £10's of thousands of pounds to the supplier.

They aren't just lumps of copper, they can be formed, drilled, and even tapped to a specific requirement, so there can be a lot of money in them.

I should perhaps have thought about price more before throwing out a number to them...

...but it still isn't bad :)

It only cost you reg fee didn't it ?

I tried selling xrayscanner(s) to a company that makes them and got nowhere

I'll have to find some more companies :-|

Well done on your sale

yes it was a reg fee buy.

I'll try shifting a few more now :)
