This topic has traffic potential, but you really need some funnier gifs.
Then watermark the images so you can get virality. Make sure you have a system that allows people to easily share gifs.
I really think you need to improve the site interface if you're going to be successful. Not easy, but you're up against sites like forgifs.com.

It's kind of designed to be a sister site to my http://funnypictures.co.uk/ site. I'm currently just setting it to add a gif a day. They're not all funny as such. I agree that it's a good idea to watermark the gifs, so I'll look into that aspect. I've toyed with the idea of having several gifs per page within categories and so on, but it's a matter of finding enough time to do that with the other sites I'm juggling. Thanks for the suggestions
