the church is @ 200 meters behind the town on the lake , a sort of penisula all by itself, i'm in the wedding industry thus i noticed !

not to steal the thread by uluru isn't easy to get to, dayssssssssss in a car or hours in a plane

We flew in from Sydney, immediately on arrival from the UK. Ouch. But it was well worth it - and one of the real highlights of our month in Australia (very old website of mine, but you get the idea).

Could not believe they lock down Uluru after the sun goes down, we went to photo the Milky Way over Ayres Rock so we had to break in at night sneaky passing border police lol

I drove from Sydney up Gold coast and across outback to Alice Springs the back down through Adelaide , Melbourne and back to Sydney took best part of 3 months driving through Australia in an VW type camper van with no aircon. Was a very entertaining trip though. And have a real fondness for the Indigenous people from that trip
