Anyone heard of this marketing company?

Anyone heard of TotalMarketing.com? I got an email from them asking if they could place an ad on one of websites on behalf of their client - a major UK company. When I checked with said major UK company they knew nothing about TotalMarketing.com.

Not heard of them but if it's a big company then it could be outsourced and going to the main customer isn't likely to yield results as they may not want to explain to people who they use

Probably an onion skinned link build operation. I doubt they would be paying for links to BigCo for fun
