Had a pretty crappy experience with them so far. Sim card arrived late, and days later I still can't activate the bloody thing.
Every time I fill out the form it just tells me there was a problem with the payment - no specifics. Worse error message I've ever seen.
Tried everything I can think of - different browser, re-adding address etc. Support agent is useless - sent a copied and pasted message directing me to a completely irrelevant and vague thread that simply said the issue was resolved. One ticket response every 24 hours is ridiculous - the guys I work with would get fired on the spot with that kind of service.
Community responses are basically 'try a support agent' or 'top up using a voucher'. Reluctant to buy a top-up voucher as if my card fails to work even after my sim card is activated it looks like I'm screwed...that's even if a voucher works in the first place :/ Is it really this difficult to get a sim activated with giffgaff or am I just unlucky? I'm wondering whether it's a warning sign to stay away.
