I think the name is supposed to be like coupon and be based around groups.

I used it the other week, my mate bought the same voucher but when he called the restaurant they said they are not honouring the vouchers as Groupon were not passing on the money that was due to them, they emailed Groupon to get a refund and haven't heard anything back from them in over a week. So now i'm a bit dubious.
