Apache Server Service

Sorry for the downtime, Apache Server Service stopped again and I was on a train in the middle of nowhere!

I'm off to bash my hosting co again.

If you need any help with the server (assuming its not a managed box) give me a shout.
If its managed why aren't they monitoring it properly?

Not managed but is supposed to be optimised for VB so not sure why it falls over once a week at the moment.

Will see what it costs to upgrade to a managed service.

I dont know the full ins and outs of your setup but if your pushing the limits of your server nginx as a reverese proxy can really help reduce the load on apache.

I'd second nginx but it sometimes gives nightmare PHP problems, not too often but happens.
