Hi all.

I got domain name barnes-and-noble.com which is strangely coincident with a big website in the US - anyone any idea how much this might be worth, and who would be interested?

Barnes and Noble and their fleet to TM lawyers might be. Value 0 to minus 50k or so, depending on on their mood.

A double hyphenated trademark, sorry but not worth reg fee
Rob is right could end up costing you money.
A good few domainers own trademark names including me who is allowing them to expire.

Upto you but i suggest you ditch it.

All points taken, and I'm not all that concerned if the B&N solicitors do want the domain for themselves - I certainly wouldn't get into a legal wrangle over it...

TBH I registered it when it expired to build a bit more knowledge about type-in and to find out what's new in backordering domains... having captured the domain I just wondered what the opinions are.

May just wait to get the reg money back from clickthrus (if I'm allowed to) and then ditch it - nothing ventured nothing gained :) Thanks for your feedback guys.
