Just picked up the following names - mainly due to current demand for retro furniture plus quite good local exacts (anyone else have a misses who can not keep their nose out of Ideal Home magazine? ;) )

retrocoffeetable / co / uk (9,900 local exact)
retrosideboard / co / uk and the .com (14,800 local exact)

Anyone had any joy recently selling furniture names - either to affiliate markerter or end user? Any appraisal on price?

Cheers!

Wasn't sure of them exacts so checked and they are correct and steady trends aswell.

I would imagine retro coffee tables selling for £100 and retro sideboards for £200.

still they would probably fetch £100 to £200 each, selling to an end user will be hard to find a buyer (maybe)

I am interested but skint I'm afraid :(

Both good names, these are quite specific so they have potential to make sales, increasing the attraction to affiliates. Here's my quick off the top of my head valuation without looking at much of the data, end user prices:

retrocoffeetable £400
retrosideboard £350

I quite like these names, and they do have a decent search volume. My only (slight) problem with them is that defining "retro" isn't a straightforward as "oak", "pine", "leather" or other furniture classes, and there aren't that many affiliate products that easily fit the category from text searches. Also, a good portion of the people searching might be looking for secondhand items, which means using something like eBay for content which Google is not fond of.

Nice names though, and I'd guess that they'd sell for high £xx - low £xxx each to the right person undeveloped.

I doubt if there are many dealers who just sell either of these items exclusively or in enough volume which would make finding an end user willing to buy at a price very difficult…

If the search volumes are correct would you say what the search volumes indicate to you…?, Is it someone looking to buy an item new... or looking to sell or purchase an existing one…? As there aren't that many affiliate products, I would say this fall into the later as such my personal development view would be a site that allows people to post the items for sale keep the cost low £1or nothing until you can become a market leader so to speak... Then stack em high...…

Also take in to account fashion, trends etc a few years ago pine was all the rage now you can’t give it away…? look on 50,s 60,s 70,s clothing, lifestyle, music etc type sites

Ideal Home Magazine currently 6 issues for £13.90 !! Or theres a massive list on Home Improvement Magazines

I've seen some affiliates selling furniture domains on A4U, there was a competition where a few people tried to setup an affiliate shop quickly at http://www.affiliates4u.com/forums/...ead-head-affiliates4u-member-rival-sites.html

Great interesting thread and competition
