Is it ok to use snippets of articles from google news and other sites to put on my site as long s i link back to the original site? Or am i better just rewording them.

I am looking to add articles to a blog section of my site and thinking of ways to do this without spending hundreds on newly written articles.

Or if there are any bloggers who would like to make a few articles for my site and a free linkback to yours pleas PM me, The topic is chocolate and sweets..

the odd quote and link back every now and then is fine, but if it's for SEO purposes then you need to be original, so rewording will always be best. especially if you are using as a source news and pages Google's already indexed and ranked..

I'm no legal expert but I'd have thought you may be running the risk of copyright infringement, because you'd be reproducing someone's work without their permission, regardless of whether you've credited them or not.
