I don't know about you chaps and chappesses, but whenever I read the words "amazing", "awesome", "incredible deal", "not to be missed", "don't miss", "wow" in a post, domain offer, online advert or similar, I turn right off!

Nothing more off putting!

I then think of this guy:

:D :D

"amazing", "awesome"

Whatever happened to "radical" "illin" "fresh" and "wicked"

Domain offers would get my attention if they had titles like "5 radical to the max solar panel domains ... they is fresh".

I say we have a "post like we're in the eighties" day on Acorn

Did you know that the guy that actually sings that song for the ad had a number 1 album in the classical charts because of that ad. Just goes to show you what idiots most people are.

It's no wonder democracy doesn't work.

The world has gone mad with suggestions of the best deal etc etc.....

Remember the days when we had 'January Sales'... then they started on Boxing Day... now I'm positively upset if something I buy isn't 'in the biggest sale ever'....

I agree with Alien, domains or tv ads infact anything, it's a bit like them people who go round acting hard all the time they usaully amount to not much and have to act like they're something they're not just to look better than they actually are.

If the product is good then it will sell itself

A bit like those ads that promote '87% of people agree' - til you read the small print at the foot of the screen showing that this global international multi-billion company only surveyed 70 people!
