Awesomeness.co.uk is a startup website currently selling three unique product lines, Squishable, Pickbandz and Handana. The aim of the site is to source awesome products from around the world that are not readily available in the UK.

Although the site has some sales (£4500 since 17th July including website/eBay/Amazon) we are offering it more as a ready to go package for someone wanting to get started in ecommerce retail. We will also include our eBay and Amazon accounts if required, both with good feedback. In addition we have a Facebook page with 410 Likes.

We believe Awesomeness is an excellent brand targeted at a younger age group of 14-30 year olds and offers great potential to build a loyal customer base. The site is run on Shopify software and costs about £20 a month in fees. The website is for sale for £2500 plus our remaining stock which is valued at approximately £1500 also making a total of £4000.

I am selling the site because I have become more involved with the Squishable and Pickbandz products and am now acting as a distributor for these. I no longer have time to source new products for Awesomeness and will of course continue to supply the new owner with Squishable and Pickbandz stock as and if required. How does it work with the shopify stuff? Do you actually own the website or is it rented?

We own the domain name but Shopify is a hosted ecommerce solution so if you wanted to host the site elsewhere you'd need to change the ecommerce solution.

So, you're selling a website that has products on it for which you are the distributor, nice idea.
Are there any other UK distributors the buyer could buy from, or have you exclusivity?

We are the exclusive supplier of these products but the site is not about these products. There is no requirement for the buyer to continue stocking them but they are profitable so it would make sense to do so.
