Hi,

I do apologise for not doing “only one domain per message”, but they are simply strongly connected. Some time ago I’ve bought some generic co.uk domains that cover the entire surfactant industry. It was for a customer to develop a large eCommerce system but later we disagree on few things and Project was dropped. Therefore I now have the whole industry in my hands but not developed yet.

Domains are:

surfactant.co.uk (Main domain)
sles.co.uk (Nothing to do with SUSE Linux, stands for Sodium Laureth Sulfate)
labsa.co.uk (Stands for Linear alkylbenzene sulfonic acid)

Both abbreviations are standard chemical abbreviations used by the industry.

So how much is the pack value (undeveloped)? What do you think?

The figures on the domains say they're not worth a lot, but I'm not in that industry.

I guess if you can work out a way to convert any leads generated then that'd be the best way to show value over and above the raw search stats?

to save anyone else the time of looking them up, the ELSV stats are:

[surfactant] £0.52 880
[sles] £0.77 480
[labsa] £0.38 46

Thanks Ty_,

The only thing is that all these figures do not work in B2B industrials. They are not used for advertising, PPC, Adsense, Affiliate or anything similar. These are mostly of interest of the large companies like BASF, Cognis, etc. to get an edge over competitor. In industrial chemicals single order is around high xx,xxx to xxx,xxx so there are slightly different rules of the game.

Their value is generally to academia - not business. There are thousands like this around, especially in biochemistry/genetics which have thousands of G results because they're buried in theses etc. My 2p...

Indeed, hence my comments about other ways to show / realise value.

Best of luck tho...

Ty

Thanks! Might go for a large eMarketing Project...

There is some use in academia, but they mostly into full names, industry likes abbreviations though.;)
