Wanted: Domain Appraisal Bagged me a channel island!

I know it's small, but Sark.TV has to be an investment for the future, dont you think? I dont have many .TVs but this has to be one of my better ones. Any ideas on possible future value?

Since the island only has 600 residents (according to Wikipedia) I'd have to peg the value at zero. How much of a site could anyone build with an absolute maximum visitor audience of 600?

it could have promise if you can get all the islanders signed up to their own TV channel with all the latest island news.... like who washed their car today and how many pints did you drink at the islands only pub last night.... how about a dating channel just for Sark residents.... oh no that would not work as they have all S**GED each other by now.... :-D

on a not so sarcastic and negative point.... preds might have a point with the "reruns" that was one scary film and they might pay to see old stuff like that.... it must be boring on an island of 600.... unless they all play giant twister once a month...

Thanks for those constructive (and some less constructive!) comments. I feel there is some inherent value in the name. It is a tourist destination. Despite the small population it has an annual tax revenue of over 300,000 quid, so divide that by the population and you get a pretty high average worth of individual! This is combined with a similar figure for taxes on boats landing means it's probably worth a site for tourism and stuff.

I'm a bit lost on the whole 'Deliverence' thing, having never seen the film - but that is a scary looking kid!

You are right about the tourist angle for a developed site.. You could aim it at other places in the area..

As for the kid.. I heard that was Pred as a child!! :twisted:
