Boody heck, heard about it but that is truly shocking stuff.

Heard it wasn't a passenger flight but RIP all those on board.

I heard that yep, although a Civil 747 maybe FedEx as they do a lot of work the US military, they are usually crewed by ex military as well.

Could be that it was loaded wrong, although the guys are so experienced these days that is highly unlikely. The other big cause of these is over being overweight.

Looked like it was stalling and he desperately tried to turn it. Surprising just how easily it exploded. Pretty flimsy machines really. Like a coke can filled with petrol.

No problem. I was just surprised at the size of the explosion from the relative low height of when it belly-flopped. Maybe the more modern planes like the dreamliner are better at withstanding breaking up.

The way it seemed to stall, it looked like engine failure to me. I saw a similar thing with a C5 once before (which was loaded).

Those poor crew members must have realised what was about to happen.

don't know whether cargo shifted as someone said or he was in such a steep ascent when stalled no time or power to correct it
