Hi there guys,

I'm in the market for a new DSL modem/router as my old Netgear DG834 doesn't support Annex M which is required for some of the enhanced uplink services around (currently with Nildram). Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a new router?

I've had D-link's in the past which were unreliable. Netgear seem to do well, but would be interested to hear any other opinions. Wireless possibly although I already have a decent wireless access point.

Cheers!

I followed a suggestion and put in a speedtouch to replace a cheap unit which had previously replaced a 3com, the line became far more stable and faster than the cheapie or 3com could ever manage. I'll most probably install a speedtouch when I install the new line into my office.

I'm on a Speedtouch here as they are recommended by Zen.co.uk, but I would pick from Netgear, Linksys, Draytek ... and hey, Speedtouch too I guess, been reliable for me.

I can recommend the Zoom range. Rock solid and very flexible. I've been through belkins, netgears, linksys, dlinks and various branded ones. Even bought the latest X6 to replace the freebie thompson O2 give out. Gives good wireless coverage compared to others as well. Ebuyer sell them for about £40

cant say whats best but my Linksys WAG54GS does what it said on the box. I live in the middle of nowhere so adsl2 isnt important. ie for your needs dont get this router :p

can someone tell if the LTE really will be better like they say? when do we will get LTE in canada? thanks

i'm more accustomed to the SpeedStream and its various models. seems to do the job and it seems like they've corrected a lot of the earlier problems they had. as for router, i go with the linksys wireless-g.
