It is beyond my comprehension how a football club with the history and reputation of Huddersfield Town has allowed HuddersfieldTown.co.uk to be dropped tonight, and they haven't registered it, and it has been sitting there untaken for the past three hours.

I mean, don't organisations have £5 spare to register their name and protect it?

If it was my own team (Arsenal) I would have registered it in seconds.

That is pretty ridiculous. I’ve registered it and will contact the club to transfer it back to them.

Huddersfield Town have never owned the domain 'HuddersfieldTown.co.uk'. They have always used 'https://www.htafc.com' which is probably why they no longer monitor what the .co.uk was doing - The owners of 'HuddersfieldTown.co.uk' have changed hands many times over the years.. One minute is was a crappy business directory for huddersfield Town, the next a wordpress holding site for a couple of years etc.. It would make a nice url forwarder, so I'm sure they will appreciate you giving them the name DesD

On a similar issue, I notice that SheffieldUnited.co.uk is due to 'drop' too, around September 7th.
