How many examples can you find of Big Companies cybersquatting each other's brands? Especially so called "generic" terms with "secondary meaning".

Sony v Coors reef.co.uk (also suspended)

RHM Frozen Foods Limited v Tiffany UK tiffany.co.uk

I know this "secondary meaning" stuff has been raised before and mentioned in a handful of DRS cases but can you give me a non-technical definition of it?

Meaning

My understanding of secondary meaning is this:-

Take a word or collection of words that describes your trade. Trade under it, spend millions of pounds building up substantial good will in the name....if you lucky you can protect the mark against others who later want to use the mark in the same trade even though it describes the trade.

Not sure why RHM Frozen Foods Limited would reg tiffany.co.uk

i am quite sure however that Reef is signed to sonys sister label S2.
