Big Data Sources and Finding What's Popular

Hi Guys

I need to up my game when it comes to "big data", by which I mean finding trends and working out what's popular.

I remember years ago, I subscribed to the Wordtracker newsletter which was a great data source for popular terms and websites (although I think it has changed now).

Anyway, what I want in this thread is suggestions for finding cool data. For example, I recently found:

and I would like to know other sources of data similar to this, e.g. Yahoo Popular searches, Alexa Most Visited list, etc etc

I have visited it a while ago, but not recently, so thanks for the reminder! That's what this thread is about, finding the resources to improve data sources and trend awareness.

Hopefully more people will post so we can build this thread into a valuable resource.
