Sorry to hear of the death of Bill Withers. Loved his songs - such a talented singer and songwriter.

How do you get a dead duck to sing motown?
Put it in the oven til it's Bill Withers

    (With great respect).

What a legend. This takes me back to my teen years growing up on the street of Lagos with all the Motown greats.

Lean On Me (Sample and Recycle by many artists)
Grandma's Hand (beats later sample by Blackstreet/Dr Dre - No Diggity)
    My two favourites are:

    Just The Two of Us

    Ain't No Sunshine

    Rest in Peace Bill Withers

I didn't realise he'd sang all three of those (Lovely Day, Just the Two of Us and Ain't No Sunshine) and Lean on Me! Some much needed optimism in the style of his music. Reminds me slightly of the upbeat feel the Lighthouse Family used to have.
