Looks like a new trading manipulation technique.

I note the domain has already been suspended.

Another body shot to ngtlds, big corps are gonna be hating them soon, wonder what extension they'll push for clarity... Com and .Co.uk

Not really, the markets would have reacted the same if it was bloomberg-market.com or similar providing the site looked as identical as it did.

"Many" Traders wouldnt have paid much attention to the domain if the general appearance of what they are used seeing on a daily basis gave them that security of a "reliable source" of news.

The fact a New GLD was used may have made some ask questions, but in my opinion it doesnt really take alot for a market to go mental in seconds, people don't stop and research the legitimacy if its seemingly from a reliable source.

You haven't understood the context in what I've said. I'm saying with thousands of new ngtlds corps have to be even more aware of in appropriate usage.

There are many permutations of a .com address that would look more legit than 99% of the new GTLD's. Not sure I'd fall for bloomberg.ninja.

Or just their own gtld of course. That way they have absolute control, and in 20 years time perhaps it will be obvious to the public it is a scam if anyone lands on a website that pretends to be from Barclays that isn't on .barclays?
