I'd like to try and get an idea of what this domain could be worth, so some thoughts would be great.

No expert but for me, bookcases doesn't flow or make sense like bookcase does, which is much more brandable. Still has value, but cannot see it being worth that much.

I think that would definitely hinder the price should a potential buyer know.

I agree as I think a domain like this would only really suit an affiliate site. I don't think there any many end-user companies who specialise solely in bookcases. I could be wrong though.

I think it's one of those keywords with good searches, good value product etc but again the buyer pool is limited with lack of real-world companies and not much advantage in the affiliate space - especially if it has ranking issues.

It's used to rank on strength of the EMD, I don't think it's had any penalties against it specifically though, as there was no mass spammy links made against it.

I've started to set it up as a Dropshipping site, there are a few places that will do this and the margins are very good compared to affiliate.

Appreciate the insights though, not expecting it to be worth tens of thousands, but for either a shop or bookcase maker for example it must have some value.

Maybe panda looking at semrush which says traffic dropped march 2012, but hard to tell for sure without looking at your analytics.

Panda isn't so bad though, just be easiest to scrap the current site/content and start again which I'm sure probably new buyer might want to do anyway.

The current site is only a couple of months old with new content, it's repeated elsewhere as that's where it was built, I then moved it to new hosting, forgot the remove the old one, cheers for that
