Not my cup of tea them boutique hotels but i can see there's a good market there, just hope the end user knows what they're doing ?

Correct me if i'm wrong but boutique hotels are them with all like art deco and antiques all over them and that

I'll take B & B or a caravan anyday

Goes to show all domain names are only worth what end users are willing to pay for them ;)

Good luck with the site :p

Have always said the same and yes I'm pretty sure end user knows what he's doing as I hope he will in the future too as he has in the past.

Christ alive. I would never think to search for that term.

Someone has had a right result there.

ROFL

9900 pm on a niche and i don't imagine Boutique hotels are cheap ?

I imagine quite easy to get a PR of 10 <

Wish i could flog them like that :(

My god that was a bit of a tongue twister lol :p

Will someone please close the appraisals section, because this is the 5th this month I have been around 2000% out on.

My cousin sold one for 2.5k this week, I wouldn't have reg'd it.

Just goes to show that the value lies in what the end user can do with it.

I sold one for £9500 but everyone should have been able to sell that, but still some didn't see the worth, needs a lot of work on these lists, I do most of mine by the eye, no research or tools, I should use more background gathering before catching, would make sense, if I'd caught it, client would have got that one for £10. Same as transactions.co.uk but that was for £6.

Some people really do make me laugh!. This is a great name for a good size market.

Its not sometime i am into or would search for but people do, the money is there to be made on this name. I would say have a look at boutiquehotels.com to open your eyes.

Not saying it's not mate but you can't be an expert on every market sector can you?

There is one dropping in the next 2 days that I know has a 2k price tag on it and buyer waiting. Unfortunately it's been booked with caught and a few others. However I doubt most of you on here will even try to catch it.

So I'll keep it to myself and try to buy it cheap from whoever catches it.

All I'm saying is that the appraisals section can be so far out it's pointless asking sometimes.

It's all about research, if you don't do the research you don't know if a name is any good. Even better if you know a lot on several sectors as you don't need to research so much. Client asked me to catch that one and I didn't put as much emphasis on it as I should have, started on a low scan for starters - that's how highly I regarded it. Meanwhile caravanholidays.org.uk now gone - off to see what's dropping tomorrow inbetween emailing end users with recent catches. Nice name but didn't think much of it at the time.

You missed 'IMO', as it certainly isnt in mine.

Im off for a laugh.

LOL Right-O!.. Have a good one.

As i have stated, its just about keeping it constructive. I for one have a team of people who market my names and we often quote posts on here and also use domainprices.co.uk as a reference and know of other who do the same.

Wasn't directed at you mate, yours was a constructive post :). I have nothing against others views however sales are reported here to help others and silly comments don't help the anyone. I have nothing more to say on the matter other than good look with your plans Rob, and look forward to hearing from you regarding the other stuff :).

Not to worry mate, I don't take offence if someone makes a comment anyway. I doubt that anyone on here who's seen your posts thinks there is anything dodgy going on either.

I have seen it for myself over the last few weeks and independent of people on here, one a member of my family who isn't into domains and managed to sell a domain for mid x,xxx and the name was junk. It was a genuine genuine sale, my jaw hit the floor.

On the other hand I bought a name as an end user a few months ago, fancy////dress///outfits.co.uk

It will make me money as I will integrate it into my mask making business, yet wouldn't make another domainer that much.

So depends who it goes to mate, If the end user knows what he is doing with it then it is worth it, there isn't arguing with it.

Maybe we are all getting confused about the value of a domain and the value of a domain to a certain individual??

I totally agree with what you are saying, in most cases a name is worth what someone is willing to pay to a point :).

Not surprised at all, I sold BoutiqueHotel.co.uk a while back. Nice sale.
