There used to be a programme on tradedoubler that enabled users to watch telly from all over the world, including England, but I don't think it was called jumptv, does anyone know what the site was called? I don't have cable here and fancied some British telly - just for xmas.

Have a look at 4OD (Channel 4 on demand) they do free streaming or download of their shows free for 30 days.

UK Proxy?

You can download UK programs via bittorrent from uknova.com - requires registration, and they restrict the numbers to make sure it's sustainable. So you'll need to keep trying!
