Broken links

I've been using http://www.w-global.com/index.php/tools-gadgets/online-sitemap-generator

to create a site map, but I notice the following issues when I crawl, where I get hundreds of broken links of the form: http://www.evresource.com/category/ev-batteries/'+myTarget+' where for some bizzare reason there is an appendage. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Might not work if your site is very big (500+ pages)

Hey, Im using xml-sitemaps .com. It also limited but you cant use special for crawler from google.
