Hi all
now and then i go to a site and i am given the option to download/upgrade my browser like firefox etc. are these affiliate links and if so does anyone know where to sign up?

It's usually just the website author uses the browser and supports it by posting a link to it. Also google advertises chrome in it's ads.

It seems firefox puts you in a lottery to win gifts if you get over 5 downloads a quarter. If you do win, you can't again for a year.
