bulk whois admin email lookup

I have a bunch of domains at a registrar some with an email address that I haven't had access to for years.

To update the admin email before I transfer them away I have to go into each record one by one and see if the email is correct or not and then update it if necessary.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a bulk lookup tool that I could use.
So that for example, I can paste in a list of .com's and see all the admin emails next to them so that I can pinpoint, which domains I need to go intop and then manually change the admin email.

Most registrars have a bulk tool for updating contact details. Have you checked in the control panel.

yep, i checked! Even called them. It's hostway.com.

I only used them years ago because they were cheap and haven't registered new names with them for years.

The downside is that their support is poor, i have had domains show the wrong details in the control panel re:expiry/reg. status...

am now sticking with moniker.

Just need to change an old uni address that is stuck as the admin email.
Hostway said that I have to do it one by one and the time between page loads is killing me!

You could use DNA, not sure if it's got an admin email column, if not it's pretty easy just to scroll down the list and look at the admin email in the bottom window

Thanks Grant - I ended up doing it all manually. Just finished now - annoying but it's all over!

I have DNA on my other computer so should have remembered it - I can't remember too if it has admin email.
