Nominet Buyers that haven't done transfer

Going back to the days of paper transfers I have about a dozen sold domains where I released the TAG, but they never completed the transfer.
I have written to them and emailed. Most are active web sites.

Any suggestions as to how to get their attention?

Change the nameservers and put up a holding page saying "please contact me to transfer your domain"

That should get their attention
