call lists

I've been getting more and more unrequested telesales 'cold-calling' calls - many where the phone call is automated.


Anyone know an official link to get removed from these lists? There are many in the US but I can't find them in the UK

The DMA (Direct Marketing Association) has links to all the services that are supposed to get you on lists so that you are not contacted. Can take a few months, but you can opt out of mail, email, fax, telephone.

Check the links on the right hand side of this page, under DMA for consumers.

Yep that's the link from the DMA site. Doesn't seem to be working for me atm though. The DMA site also has the links to the other lists.
