Hello everyone

I'd like to ask if in your opinion strong keyword in .org.uk can sell to end user in the UK ?

Maybe you had succesful sale of this extenion already and could share some details ?

I appreciate any feedback

Best wishes

Lucas

@baldidiot could you please advise on this subject - let's say you buy cars.org.uk or loans.org.uk - can these domain names be attractive to end users like companies that give loans or sell cars ?
I actually meant something like that

Thank you for replying!

Thanks for info , how much would you ask for really quality 1 word keyword in this extension baldidiot ? ( which for sure has lots of searches broad and exact )

I sold IceSkates.org.uk to Skate Hut - https://www.nominet.uk/whois/?query=iceskates.org.uk and also LabelPrinter.org.uk to The Barcode Warehouse https://www.nominet.uk/whois/?query=labelprinter.org.uk

First was an outbound, second was an inbound and both were sold with sites and content included.

Good skills @wonder_lander . But is that because your sites were hitting the right spot so turning up as competition ? Are the sites still up there ? Do you mind me asking if the price was then also relative ? I'm sure that there are a few people here that have decent org.uk that havent had even a sniff. I have a couple seriously generic keyword org.uks that no one has even blinked an eye at and if co.uk would be into at least 5 figures I reckon.

A hell of a lot less than the .co.uk.

Also depends on the keyword. If it's in a high value niche with good aff potential we'd pay a lot more than an info site.

Eg. bettingsites.org.uk >>> crumpets.org.uk

Both have the same search volume though: https://snag.gy/qMvtF3.jpg

Tbh this is pretty obvious stuff, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that unless you tell us the keyword it's hard to say. Could be worth pennies, could be worth a few grand. Just depends.

On a side note, Interflora use an org.uk on a site: http://www.flowers.org.uk/
