Catching expiring .net domains

Can anyone point me to how these drop and who can catch them? Can't make any sense from searching Google...

Last time I looked it was these:

SnapNames.com
NameJet.com
Pool.com
etc

Thanks - knew these for .com domains but never seen a .net I wanted before. I only knew about it as DomainMonster emailed me to tell me it matched another domain I held with them.

Anyone had any .net catching experience with DM or would I be better off trying to secure with Pool or Snapnames etc?
