Category pages in WP?

Hi, is it worthwhile for SEO purposes to create unique pages for each category in WP?

Depending on your theme and/or if you have joost wp seo plugin you can write category descriptions (use a couple of nice keyword/phrases), & titles which will help.

Have been doing this for a while and it helps me ....

It's worthwhile,google hates uncategorized,alot so it's always better naming your cats which makes sense as all sites which are maintained use the appropriate categories.
