I've found a domain on .org.uk with fairly high searches. What's peoples views on setting up a website on these domains. Is their some law against this, or is it OK if setup as a fan site?

I've seen other members on here with some of these types of domains.

Appreciate some feedback

Thanks
Gary

Just like TM names, you take a risk!

Search Nominet DRS for waynerooney.co.uk, if they want the name off of you they will get it. If you do decide to do it, make a fan site and only put on merchandise from amazon or ebay auctions etc, don't put adsense or sell anything that has nothing to with them.

Also put Unofficial in the title tag and header tag as well.

I had a few but got rid of most of mine, wasn't worth taking the risk developing something that could be taken away with such ease.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for your advice Justin, much appreciated.

Looking at the .co.uk, this just looks like a fan site too, so most likely they would want the .co.uk and .com before the .org.uk so I might be able to put up a quick site and make a few sales.

Will let you know what I decide

Cheers
Gary
