Inherited ChadValley couk, when I bought a bulk list of names a while back.
Contacted current owners of the trademarked name, and offered to transfer for free. No response... For such a large brand, seems odd not to even follow up.

A lot of "businessmen" will not respond to email or telephone contacts because it is "not businesslike". When you ask for a coherent explanation, the closest you get to rational is that the PR man/MD has instituted the policy, and no-one will go against it.

You could use it yourself - it is a "geo" for the area of Brummagem between Harborne and Ladywood. Boring sort of place ...

Look up Harborne Road B17 on multimap, you should see the words Chad Valley at the point where the road changes to become Chad Road.
