Cheap stock photos of UK towns/cities

Been using iStockphoto for years, but their prices have risen and risen of late.

Are there any cheap/free stock photo websites that carry images of uk towns and cities?

Don't know if you'll find exactly what you're looking for, but there is sxc.hu which is a free stock photo site now owned by getty.

You could use flickr and search for images under Creative Commons licenses that you can use commercialls. A tool like flickrCC will help search flickr for commercial and non-commercial use CC images.

not free but have you tried bigstockphoto.com very cheap to download and you can make money uploading your own photos for download.
