Thats what happens when people don't operate within common-sense parameters.

No slur intended - I blame the "exacts" crowd and most measures proposing themselves as market-defining. Still it leaves all the good stuff for the savvy shoppers

It depends whether you want to be a domainer or developer. If you want to be a domainer, it pays to be very fussy about what you buy. Buying only the top extensions, i.e. .co.uk and .com isn't a bad rule to stick to if you are looking to sell on your domains.

My advice, your .info would be fine for an affiliate site, just don't buy too many before you actually develop some of the domains. Buying a domain is easy, developing it is not.
