Took up the offer a few years ago for cheap co.uk domains with www.clarence.com

2 years later the time has come up for renewal even though I have sent multiple emails to say I dont want the domains to be renewed and phoned all over the place the domains have been renewed

the telephone number on the clarence.com website does not work and they dont respond to emails either

so through the whois managed to get a number to speak to someone who gave me another number for marketing department who then told me to go to register.it direct.

ring them and getting no where does not help when one does not speak Italian so then get told to email them multiple emails later and nothing back.

So it looks like at some point I am going to get a big bill for a load of domains I dont want my advice is avoid the 2 companys.

Keep copies of all your emails and note down other atempts to contact them - which numbers, dates etc. Then, if you do get a bill, reply with copies of them and say that you are not paying.

Thanks for the advice just hope that they have not got my bank details to take money out of me.

Got 4 emails back this morning from the loads that I have sent saying that they wanted me to log in and use the help feature in clarence.com dont no what they think i have been trying to do for ages

Got most of the domains onto my tag but they have been renewed even though I asked them not to multiple times and had reponses to my emails so not sure what to do.

could cancel them with nominet but then could end up with a bill for domains that I have cancelled that i did not want renewing in the first place.

Also not sure who I should be complaining to about the situation clarence / register.it dont seem to understand and what dont renew means.
