what do you mean you should go to www.1and1.co.uk if you going to get .co.uk its £2 a year if you get it 2 years

So they are paying £5.88 and charging you £4.00.
After overheads and various fixed charges they are losing even more.

Who does that work?

I have to say in their defence, (1&1) I have never had a single problem with them. I recently transferred out nearly 200 domains, and everything was done with no probs, and I have in the past transfered out large amounts with no probs whatsoever.

Its still cheaper; even for Nom members to utilise 1&1 to reg names then transfer them out straight after invoice is paid £3.98+vat -2yrs

I agree with Dave - no real problems with 1&1 - just a bit tiresome having to send faxes etc. Excellent value for hosting also.
